This post is aimed specifically at our Aikido Teachers.
As Ki Federation club administrators we have to maintain details of our own students, including grading dates and, in particular, Ki Federation membership renewal dates. I decided some time ago that it’s not worth me investing (at club level) in a computer database – a paper record system is more practical and simpler to manage.
I decided to revamp my old template, but unfortunately had lost my original computer documents. So I needed to start again from the beginning. It took quite a bit of time, and fiddling about, trying to come up with compact, usable templates that suit me. It then occurred to me that other teachers face the same issues, so if it could save them some time and effort, I might as well make the templates available.
Consequently, I have added a junior and an adult (youth/disabled etc) template to the documents section of this website. These documents are only accessible to logged in teachers. On these documents I use the “Renew” box to record the members renewal month number so that I can quickly scan for upcoming renewals.
If other teachers have alternate or better solutions, then please send them to me, and I’ll add them as well.
