Here is the January 2020 Aikido update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain.
We wish all our members a very Good New Year. We also send our best wishes to any of the Australian members who have been affected by the atrocious fires that have now been burning for many weeks.
There is only one member for grading for 1st Dan, and one for 3rd Dan, on Saturday 25th January. Consequently, the Dan gradings will start at 11.30 and the course will be from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Then, on Sunday 26th January, the course will be from 10.30am to 12.30pm with the Kyu grading at 12.45.
The Stewartfield club, in Scotland, has booked a course with kyu grading for the 16th February. Please contact Mark Phillipson for details.
John Whipps will open his club in Brazil, in March. So, we send him our very best wishes for the opening.
A course has been booked in Australia for the 2nd to 6th October, next year in 2021.
Sadly, the office has received an email to say that Ian Lambie passed away on the 5th January. Ian was the the international representative for Normandy, France.
