Here is the July 2023 Aikido update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain.
We congratulate the following members who passed their Dan Gradings on the 8th July…
- 1st Dan: P. Dow and G. Phillips.
- 3rd Dan: A. MacKnight.
Thank you to all the Dan Grades who made ukemi for the gradings. Congratulations also to all those students who passed their Kyu Gradings on the 9th July.
SUMMER SEMINAR: 7th to 11th and 14th to 18th August
On the Summer Seminar we have one member for 1st Dan Grading and four members for 3rd Dan Grading on the 12th August. So we will require Dan Grades for ukemi – please let the office know if you are available.
Members are welcome to attend single days or full weeks. If a member attends a morning class (Monday to Thursday) they are welcome to attend the free practice that afternoon. If members wish to take their Kyu Grading on the first Friday (11th August) they should also attend the morning session that day. The high grade classes on the Tuesdays and Thursdays are open to 1st Kyus and all Dan Grades.
We look forward to seeing all our members on the Seminar and hope our International members have a good journey over to the UK.
