Here is the June 2018 aikido update for the Ki Federation.
We hope all is going well for our members and everyone enjoyed our recent warm weather. We hope that no one was too badly affected by the flooding around the country.
Sensei Walters had a wonderful time in Canada, and we hope that all the students enjoyed both courses there.
Our congratulations go to the following members who passed their grading:
- C. Manolache who passed his 1st Dan on the Toronto course in Canada.
- Jean Offord, who is 92 years old and from the Brymton Club near Yeovil, passed her 1st Ki Test.
An additional Area course has been booked by the Brighton Club for Sunday, 25th November.
As we have 6 members taking their examination for Dan Grading on the 7th July we will require Dan Grades to make ukemi. Please let the office know if you can attend.
The Junior club in Sopwell & Verulam, London has now closed.
Jenny Gwyther-Brown has kindly placed a rose in the Headquarters courtyard in memory of Lynn Heathcote-Bate.
The collection box, for Cancer Research UK, in the Headquarters entrance has raised £53.
