Here is the March 2022 Aikido update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain.
It was so good to see everyone on our first course in Headquarters, after a two year break. A wonderful feeling, and lots of chat to catch up on.
We normally arrange our Spring Seminar over three days, with a Dan grading and a Kyu grading. This year, however, it will be a one day course with a Kyu grading only. This will be held on Saturday, 30th April. There is no Dan grading as members due for Dan Gradings wish to wait until later in the year to take their exam. For those members who applied for Dan gradings two years ago, the Federation will send out grading invitations shortly. The first Dan grading this year is on the 2nd July.
For this year, as course attendance will be lower than pre-pandemic days, we have amalgamated some group courses. This may make it easier for members to travel to Headquarters, if different grades from the same, or nearby, clubs share the journey….
- The 1st Kyu, 1st Dan and 2nd Dan groups will join together on the same day.
- The 3rd and 4th Dan groups will also join together on the same day.
The Sword courses and Tanto course should be booked in advance.
We hope everyone keeps healthy and well, and look forward to all our future courses.
First course for 2 years….
