Here is the May 2019 Aikido Update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain.
We’ve just enjoyed another Spring Seminar and it was good to see members from France and Russia attending. Thank you to everyone who helped on the seminar, and to all the Dan Grades who made ukemi on the gradings.
We congratulate the following members who passed their Dan Grade exam on the Sunday of the Seminar…
- 1st Dan: S. Casebourne, N. Stewart, P. Lenoir (from Paris), T. Jouany and C. Lebrun (both from Paris ASC), and S.Evgeny from Russia.
- 2nd Dan: Z. Sullivan.
- 3rd Dan: A. Waddington-Feather.
We also congratulate all the Kyu Grades who passed their grading on the Monday.
We require Dan Grades to make ukemi on the July 6th grading, We would also be grateful if anyone can help with filming the Dan gradings. This is for any of the grading dates on our calendar. Please let the office know if you are available.
Another Ki Therapy course has been arranged for the weekend of 23rd & 24th November. This course is for 1st Dan and above. Please let the office know if you would like a booking form.
There are a few places still available on the Sword courses on the 18th May. These are for 5th Dans & above.
An Area course has been booked on the 24th August in Plymouth.
The Ki course, to be held on the 1st June at Headquarters, is for all grades to study Ki only. The course on the 15th June does not include a Kyu grading. The intention is to allow Kyu grades to study without the pressure of a grading. Dan grades are always welcome on both of these courses.
