Here is the May 2023 aikido update for the Ki Federation.
It was wonderful to see so many of our members on the Spring Seminar. Our congratulations go to the following members who passed their Dan Gradings on the Seminar…
- 1st Dan: J Mitchell and N. Brobakk.
- 3rd Dan: P Veral from Paris.
Congratulation also to those who passed their Kyu Gradings on the Sunday. It was good to see so many young members attending.
Although we managed in the end, we were initially struggling to make sure we had enough people to make ukemi for the Dan gradings on the Seminar. So, for the upcoming July Dan Grading, would any Dan Grade please let the office know if they will be available. As you know it is part of a Dan Grading to make ukemi for the next grading. However, as many of the new Dan Grades are over 60 years, we always need extra members to make ukemi.
