Here is the February 2023 Aikido Update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain.
Sensei Margaret has added an additional course to the calendar. This will be a Ki Course to work through the “Ki for Health” and “Ki Development” exercises. These will be taught in relation to daily life, relaxation and stress. If anyone has an injury they are welcome to attend and practice whatever they find suitable. This course is for all grades and will be on Sunday, 5th March – 10.30 to 12.30 and 14:00 to 16:00.
Our congratulations to the members who passed their Kyu Gradings on the January course. As we go through our grading journey we do not always notice how we develop and change. However, others do notice a difference. It is incredible how the practise of Ki Aikido gradually helps us in so many ways.
Blue belts can now also attend the High Grade classes in Headquarters. These are on Wednesday evenings from 8:00 to 8.50pm. Previously these were only open to Brown Belts and Dan grades.
We hope all is well with our International clubs. Our thanks go to Daniel, from Paris, for sending in the names of their members who will be attending the Spring Seminar.
Sensei Aitkenhead has now booked his journey to Paris for the course on the 1st and 2nd of April.
Our best wishes to everyone.
