Here is the March 2023 aikido update for the Ki Federation of Great Britain
We congratulate the following Dan Grades who were upgraded on their Group courses at the end of February:
- To 4th Dan: Dale Bailey, Svlvie Bidonde, Peter Fellows and Kathleen Spencer.
- To 5th Dan: Paul Birch, Angela O’Rourke, Craig Parkes, Steve Parkinson and Roger Wilson.
Would the 4th Dan Grades please send their cards to the office to be dated and signed please.
Sensei Williams has decided to allow members who have passed their 3rd Dan Grading to book onto the special Tanto Courses, if they wish.
The Ki Federation is gradually growing its membership, after our long, covid induced break. We ask members to try and attend their courses, to support the Federation, when they can.
Claudette Mazzei, from the Canadian Federation, has booked her flight to Heathrow to attend the Summer Seminar. She will be arriving on Saturday, 5th August at 1.20pm and is checking the trains to Highbridge. If anyone else is also travelling from Heathrow to Highbridge perhaps they could share the journey with her. Possibly, members who are travelling to the Summer Seminar by road, may be able to assist Claudette. Please contact the office if you can help.
Please could our international representatives send their yearly fee, if it is due.
Sensei Aitkenhead is teaching in Paris on the 1st & 2nd April. This is our first international course since the covid lockdown. We are sure the members from all the French Associations will enjoy their practise and time together.
