Last weekend was the first course and kyu grading of the year. The students studied ki development tests such as unbendable arm, before moving on to ki development in action – the 1st ki exercise kneeling kokyu-dosa.

Thence 2nd forms kotegeishi and shihonage. All of this was capped off by a great set of kyu gradings. Everyone went home pleased and inspired – what a start to the year!
