Here is the October 2022 Aikido update for the Ki Federation.
We apologise for the past problems with this Website. The website has now been rebuilt and is now much more secure. James Knight and Carl Myers have both been working hard on this, so we thank them for all their time.
In 2023, the 1st Dan and 2nd Dan group courses are going back to single grade ones. There are also two 1st Kyu Group courses. If a Dan Grade is unable to attend the dates of their own group course they are welcome to attend any lower grade group. They can attend as many as they wish.
On our Autumn Seminar, on the 29th October, we have 6 Members taking their Dan Grading. So we therefore require Dan Grades to make ukemi. Please let the office know if you can attend.
Sensei Margaret has a slight problem with a letter she received regarding the 3rd Dan grading on the Autumn seminar. She cannot read the signature and no forms have been supplied. It is signed “M. Surname” with the surname beginning with either G or S and ending in “is”. If a teacher knows who this is, please send details to the office.
On our Macmillan Coffee Morning last Saturday we made £345. This is a good amount, as it was a quiet morning, and will undoubtedly help with their funds. Thanks to Sabine, Bonita, Eleanor, Trudy, Rebecca and Bruce for all their help and wonderful cakes.
Would teachers please send the names of their members they would like invitations for Dan grading in 2023 as soon as possible.
